word of the week

This week our Word of the week is Humble. We had to define the word Humble and write all the synonyms and antonyms. This weeks word of the week was hard because it was hard to find a picture to define the word humble.

Self portrait

For the last couple of weeks, we have been working on our self-portraits. We are doing these self-portraits because of our class waka that we are working on then we will print out our self-portraits then stick them on the waka with our paddles we designed. This is my self-portrait.

Character inference chart

This week for literacy medals we had to do a character inference chart, to a story called Four of a kind. A character inference chart is a chart where it has questions about the character that you chose and you have to answer them. It was kind of hard because It was hard to fun all the answers to the questions.

Number of the week

This week our number of the week is 3. The number of the week slides are slides where they ask all different types of questions about our number. It was not really hard but the thing that was a bit hard was the last slide where it asked what was the most difficult slide etc.

Inference Chart week 2

This week for literacy we learning to make an Inference Chart and a T-Chart. An Inference chart is where you have to assume what the characters are feeling and then show evidence in what the story tells you.

Inference Week 2

This week for literacy medals we are learning how to do inference charts. The book we read this week was four of a kind. It was really hard because I ran out of things to write down. But it was also fun because now I know how to do an inference chart. This is my inference chart and my t-chart.

Word of the Week 2020

This week our word of the week is sovereignty. On our word of the week sheet, we have to explain what sovereignty means and more. It was really hard to do though because online it didn't really explain it that well for me to understand. But It was fun because now I know what sovereignty means.

The tree hut treaty

This week we read a book called the tree hut treaty. We had to make a slide then we had to answer the questions on the slides about the story and what happened.
