Why I would like to visit the Endemic tree in Tane Mahuta.

I would like to visit the Endemic tree because it is a very powerful tree,
it is a very beautiful tree that looks like it has been very healthy for all these years,
it would be fun to see how many peoples arms can fit around the whole tree!
And that's
 why I think that I should go to the Endemic tree!

    Hi Clara

    Well done with this activity. Tane Mahuta is a massive tree that really is an icon of New Zealand. They estimate that he is about 1500 years old. That's really old.
    I am really lucky and I have seen Tane Mahuta as I used to live in Northland. An he is a massive tree. Very tall and very wide. It would take a lot of people joining hands around him. I think about 15-20 people.
    I hope that one day you will be able to go on a trip to see Tane Mahuta. It would be well worth the trip.
